What is CIIE

The China International Import Expo (CIIE) stands as a significant event in the global trade calendar, initiated under the auspices of Xi Jinping, the General Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party. This expo, unique in its focus on imports, marks China's proactive stance in opening its market to the world. Since its inception in 2018, the CIIE has been held annually in Shanghai, China, during the autumn season.
