Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Business Manager & Marketing Liaison to represent our company in China. This senior-level role requires a dynamic individual with deep marketing expertise, exceptional communication skills, and a strong understanding of the Chinese business landscape. You will act as the primary liaison between our headquarters and our Chinese partners, ensuring seamless communication and effective execution of business strategies. While marketing and business development are the key focuses, you will also provide high-level office administration support as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact between the company and business partners in China, ensuring strong communication and collaboration
- Develop and execute marketing strategies that align with the company’s global objectives and resonate with the Chinese market
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners, driving business growth and new opportunities
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitors, and local regulations to provide insights and recommend actionable strategies
- Coordinate high-level meetings, events, and partnerships, representing the company’s interests in negotiations and discussions
- Collaborate with the headquarters’ marketing and leadership teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment of marketing initiatives
- Manage marketing campaigns, digital marketing efforts, and localization of content for the Chinese market
- Support the CEO with travel arrangements, itinerary planning, and scheduling as needed
- Handle office administration tasks, ensuring smooth operations and managing relevant documentation
- Provide business intelligence reports on market conditions, business opportunities, and regulatory updates
- Oversee local office operations, if applicable, including managing administrative tasks and team coordination
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in business management, marketing, or a senior liaison role
- Proven expertise in developing and executing marketing strategies in China
- Professional proficiency in Mandarin; Cantonese is a plus
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin
- Proven ability to work independently, remotely, and manage cross-functional teams across regions
- In-depth knowledge of Chinese business practices, market trends, and regulations
- Experience in digital marketing, Chinese social media management, and content localization
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; an MBA is a plus
- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to present insights and recommendations effectively
- Familiarity with Google Business Suite and tools like Notion, Canva, and other marketing platforms
